Murphy Named Player of the Year

Fresh off helping guide the Eagles to their 4th State Championship is school history, junior captain Mackenzie Murphy has been named Division III Player of the Year. Murphy is the 3rd Eagle to earn the honor, joining Ricky Gaudreau (2010) and brother Kevin Murphy (2012). Murphy led the Eagles in scoring with 42 points. Murphy was also named to the Division III All State 1st Team (defense). In addition Murphy was MVP of the Peter Hall Christmas Tournament and was WMUR Hometown Hero in January.
In addition Junior forward Colby Couture was named to the Division III All State Honorable Mention Team (forward). Couture had 12 goals and 19 assists for 32 points on the season.

BACK ON TOP; EAGLES CAPTURE 4th TITLE

The Kennett Eagles are back on top of the Division III mountain! The Eagles captured their 4th title in school history Saturday afternoon in Manchester with a 4-0 win over northern rival Berlin. The Eagles finish the season at 18-3 (21-3 overall). Read a full game story Tuesday.

Eagles Advance to Division III State Championship

The Kennett Eagles advanced to the Division III State Championship for the first time since 2012 with a 3-0 win over the 4th seeded Somersworth-Coe Brown Bear Cats Wednesday night at Hanaway RInk on the campus of Plymouth State University. The Eagles will play northern rival Berlin-Gorham Mountaineers Saturday afternoon at SNHU Arena (formally Verizon Wireless Arena). Read a full game story by clicking here.

Eagles Advance to the Frozen Four


The Kennett Eagles advanced to the New Hampshire Division III Frozen Four for the 12th time in 15 years with an 8-2 win over Pembroke-Campbell Saturday night at the Ham Arena. Caleb McPherson and Colby Couture each netted two goals in the win while Johnny Biggio made 20 saves in the win. The Eagles will play Somersworth-Coe Brown Wednesday night at Plymouth State University at 7:30 p.m. in the 2nd of two Division III semi-finals.
