Head Coach Michael Lane

Michael Lane is entering his 5th season as Head Coach of the Eagles.  Lane was born and grew up in Conway. Lane is a 2000 graduate of Kennett High School where he played Football, Baseball & Hockey.  He was captain of the first Kennett hockey team in 2000.  He graduated from New England College with a degree in Communications and a minor in History in 2004.  He was a four year starter on the baseball team there and a two year captain.  After graduating from New England College he returned to Conway and took a job with the Town of Conway in their Recreation Department.  In 2005 he began doing the play by play of Kennett Hockey games on Valley Vision Channel 3.  In the fall of 2007 Lane took over as head coach of the Eagles. The Eagles went 18-2-0 in his first season, good enough for Division III runner-up. He was named Division III Coach of the Year by his peers. In his second season behind the bench Lane led the Eagles to a 17-4-0 record and the programs first State Championship. Following the championship Lane was named Union Leader Coach of the Year for all Divisions.  In his third year behind the bench the Eagles went 20-1-0 and won their second straight State Championship. In his fourth season Lane led the Eagles to a 15-4-1 record and the schools 4th Division III Runner-Up. Lane is currently employed as the Assistant Recreation Director for the Town of Conway.  He lives in Center Conway with his wife Kristen, three year old son Aiden James, daughter, just born (11-1-11) Kendall Anne and Chocolate Lab “Tek”.

Assistant Coach Justin Frechette

Coach Frechette is entering his 3rd season behind the bench for the Eagles. Frechette was born and grew up in Conway NH. Frechette attended Kennett High School his freshman year before transferring to Cushing Academy where he was a three sport athlete, playing football, hockey and lacrosse. After graduation Frechette returned to Conway where he began to take over the family business, Frechette Tire.  Over the past four years Frechette and the family business have run the “Tires for Ice Time Sale” and made over $10,000 for Kennett Hockey. Frechette’s main duties behind the bench and during practice is to work with the defense. Frechette resides in Conway with his wife Aimee, three children, Ava Grace, Isabella Jane, and Boden Joseph along with their two dogs Riley and Barkley.

 Most Memorable Hockey Moment:   Having the winning goal scored against my team deflect off my skate in the 8th overtime in bantams at Chesire Fair Ground in Keene. Not my best moment, but most memorable. 

Assistant Coach Todd Frechette

Todd Frechette was named assistant coach of the Eagles just this week and will join the Eagles coaching staff, replacing long time assistant Peter Hall who retired after last season. Frechette will be in charge of the forwards, running line changes from the offensive end of the bench and will work with the forwards in practice. In addition Frechette will be in charge of the power play this season. Frechette is a 2004 graduate of Kennett High School where he was a three two sport athlete excelling in both Hockey and Baseball. Frechette was a member of the first two teams to go to the State Championship (2003 & 2004). Frechette resides in Ossipee.
